1) Projects

3) Change

Recently, the “agile” way has emerged, next to the traditional “waterfall” project, in order to better consider a faster-changing and more complex world (VUCA “Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity”). The purpose is here to have repetitive short sprints, where value is created during each sprint.

Advantage is at least two-fold:

  1. The business gets some benefits earlier

  2. Even if the company focus is switched away to another item, the business still has achieved some valuable improvements (and not only received some design documents).
